Over the years i've been trying to find a parable that best describe the situation of what we've been through..and of how grateful we were (and still are) cause things happened (even if it's bad) for a reason.

There's a story about a farmer who finds a horse. Very happy he uses the horse to work on the farm and everyone in the village thinks that he's so lucky to have found a horse.
The next day, his son working with the horse falls from the horse and ends up losing his leg.
the whole village think, how bad that because of the horse the son lost a leg.
Then war starts and the army come to recruit all the sons to go to war, but since his son is missing a leg, he stays home instead of getting killed in the war.

> Were awakened from sleep by house-rattling thunder at 4am!
> Didn't send Pirate to school cos of heavy rain.
> Left the house at 9.45am.
> Being honked at infront of the roundabout near YM school with no reason. Show the stupid driver the 'finger' and the 'tongue'.
> Had lunch at 5 Sails with colleagues. Listen to Dyg story of how she left the house at 8ish in the morning and only reach Magellan at 9am. Bad traffic jam from Penampang highway up to Magellan!
> Feeling thankful and 'blissful' for leaving the house so freakin' late this morning.
> Unusable toilet! Should i just brace for it?! Naa...

Letter To Self
Dear Chris,
I know that you are tired, sleepy and hungry. I know that your body sore all over but i don't want you to give up. Remind yourself that it's only been 9 days with a couple of 'leaks' days since you started your fight for better body. I call it a fight rather than it is a journey cos that's what it is..a fight!
So don't give up!!You don't want to be 'the biggest looser' on your sister's wedding now do you?! Don't give up!! I promise that you'll look and feel wonderful after you win this fight! Promise!
